Sister Love: Karun Unveils Video For ‘Glow Up’

For her fans Karun’s music creations bare blunt expressions, she lays out the everyday experiences in the most unique fashion out there, plus vocals to heal whatever kind of whiplash the African dance would rest on you.

The Kenyan artist has unveiled a captivating expressive video for her spirited single ‘Glow UP’. The song off her upcoming EP unravels an electronic-tinged and dance vibe summing up an international vibe to credit. It is a masterly crafted and subtly subversive affirmation for the females-that girl power and self love.

Karun has remained a representation of liberal artistry and has themed her music towards giving voice to the almost ignored shadows representing day-to-day life while she gracefully breaks or bends societal boundaries with her music.

‘Glow Up’ audio was produced by Sichangi and Ukweli and visuals credited to Andrew Mageto & Ray-Ray Otieno and presented by emPawa Africa Initiative.

emPawa Initiative is a project started by Nigerian singer Mr. Eazi and seeks to promote independent artists.

Karun has also unveiled performance showcase series titled ‘Glow Sessions’. The singer premiered these sessions with a ballad-y rendition of ‘Roses’ which originally featured productions by Ukweli.
