Speaking of awesome vibes on a track, the Kenyan artists have pooled together creative forces on this wavy tuned track that is intently aimed at sticking up your head for days to come.
‘Spicy SZN’ comes off her second EP ‘Pieces SZN’ and is wedged on experimental structures, the tune sits on floating bass grooves and edgy horns, the artists lay vocals with ease in the otherwise chilled approach, as they sample some of that good life with a gravy touch on class and fun, kind of music you would skate or ride that bicycle to.
The video tells a story of ambitious, daring young people celebrating life and the good times-transitions from the park to the club where Taio delivers rhymes with a kind of smug and poise as Le Ru switches up versions of her artistic expressions with her sprite vocals.
The video was shot by CJ Pixels, and directed by Natasha Ayoo & Vallerie Muthoni. The song was produced by Ransombeatz.
