Miles Ahead: International Premier

 Miles Ahead a film about the legendary jazz artist Miles Davis makes international premier at the Berlin International Film Festival running from February 11-21 and at the Glasgow Film Festival slated for February 17-28.

The film will also open in New York and Los Angeles April 1 and in the UK April 22. 

The unconventional biopic has been directed and co-written by American actor Don Cheadle who also stars in the film about the complicated life of Miles Davis. It is reported that Cheadle started learning the trumpet four years ago for the part in the film. He actually plays the trumpet himself.
Miles Davis official name Miles Dewey Davis III was an American jazz trumpeter, composer and band leader. The nine-time Grammy Award Winner was a force to reckon with in the jazz world. Davis succumbed to pneumonia and respiratory failure in 1991. He died at age 65.
