Apple has launched what it says is the future of the smartphone.

The all display iPhone X bears a 5.8 inch Super Retina display (OLED), A11 Bionic chip with neural engine, improved image stabilization boosted by the enhanced camera and the wireless charging capability.

According to Apple’s chief designer Jony Ive, the company has been working towards an all-glass phone design for more than a decade, “iPhone X marks a new era for iPhone, one in which the device disappears into the experience” Jony Ive says

The phone has also done away with the Home button instead users will ‘simply swipe from the bottom to go home from anywhere’.  The uniquely looking iPhone also comes with facial recognition feature-the Face ID-providing a new authenticating system which the company says is most secure. The feature will also enable users make payments and access apps.

Apart from the image stabilization capabilities, the front 7-MP camera comes with a precise exposure control with the Portrait mode with portrait lighting for that extra depth-of-field. The rear camera is a redesigned 12MP. Both cameras are custom tweaked and calibrated for motion tracking.

Pssst!… the high-end IPhone X users can also send Animojis that bear their facial expressions

The revolutionary smartphone will be available for pre-order beginning October 27, 2017 in more than 55 countries and territories, and in stores from November 3.

Aside from the high end X, Apple also launched the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus together with the new version of their Apple Watch Series 3.
