Game Of Thrones breaks Emmy Awards record


For the fans of Game Of Thrones it is undoubtedly the best fictional TV series or even the best show on TV currently, so it may come as no surprise that the show bagged the most awards at this year’s Emmy Awards.

Game Of Thrones’ sixth season which showed this year dominated three categories including the best drama series award which has now been scooped for the second time.

The Battle of the Bastards episode got the most appreciation with the show collecting 38 awards including trophies won at Creative Arts Emmys, beating Frasier’s record.

The People v. O.J Simpson: American Crime Story, also won several awards, while Veep won the outstanding comedy series award for the second year while Netflix’s “Master of None” won the outstanding writing for a comedy series, its first Emmy award.

Game Of Thrones is an American fantasy drama series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin’s series of fantasy novels, the first of which is titled A Game of Thrones. The show is shot in various locations across the world including: Morocco, Canada, UK, Malta, Spain, US and Iceland.
